Badlands National Park
The Badlands is a National Park in South Dakota offering dramatic landscapes. The national park protects 242,756 acres of eroded buttes, rock formations, steep canyons, towering spires and pinnacles.
The park and its many trails are also home to bison, bighorn sheep and prairie dogs that enjoy its sprawling undisturbed grasslands.
The Badlands National Park in South Dakota is just over an hour away from Custer via BIA 2 and SD-40 W.
